We always make Biriyani, Pulao, Veg-Biriyani.. Non-Veg Biriyani, we keep making them and I have shown you all of this. But out of it, Mushroom is loved by many. So today I will show you Mushroom Pulao.
We are taking here 5 tablespoons of oil. Turn on the flame. Let the oil heat. Now the oil is hot. We will add in around 15 curry leaves which I have taken here. 3 finely chopped Green Chillies. Sauté it for some time.
We will take now 3 Spring Onions which are cut in lengthwise. But here in the beginning we are only using the Onion part of it. And we have to sauté it well for sometime. We have to now add in 2 Tomatoes which are cut in lengthwise.
We have to let the Tomatoes soften a little. Now we will add in 1 Carrot cut lengthwise. Salt, as per the taste. 1 tablespoon of Black Pepper powder. Sauté it well together. And now we have to add in 150 grams of mushroom which we have finely chopped.
Keep the Mushrooms soaked in water or else they will become black. These are also cut lengthwise. We have to sauté these well and allow the Mushrooms to cook. For that we have to wait for 5 mins. 5 mins are over now we are going to add in our cooked Rice.
I had taken here 2 cups of Rice. And allowed the water to boil, added some salt. To that I added washed Rice grains and strained it after it was 3/4 cooked. We will add the Rice to our vegetable mix. Now we will mix it nicely.
2 cups that means I have taken here approximately 400 grams of Rice. We have to cook it till it realeases it’s steam. It’s not necessary to cover it with a lid. We can keep it open for 5 mins and the steam will still come.
We will add in the Spring Onion leaves. Previously we had added only the Onions. Again mix it well. And wait for 5 mins. The pulao is nice and steamy. We will turn off the flame and take it out in a serving bowl.
It’s smells so nice. Steaming hot Mushroom pulao is now ready. You have to definitely make it because it has everything which is healthy Carrots, Mushrooms, Spring onions are also added to it. We have cooked the Rice nice and well.
