Hello everyone! I´m Albert Bevia with Spain on a Fork today we´re going to make a Lemon Mousse this is the ideal dessert on a hot summer´s night it´s refreshing, it has a silky smooth texture and it taste incredible this mousse uses simple ingredients and I´m going to show you an easy way to make it if this is your first time watching my channel I encourage to click on that subscribe button if your already a subscriber, welcome back! ok the first thing we´re going to do is make our lemon curd so let´s grab 3 organic eggs let´s add them to a bowl and let´s beat them now let´s slowly pour in 1/2 cup of white sugar while we continue to mix the eggs now let´s squeeze the juice of 2 lemons into the mixture and let´s mix everything together ok now let´s grab a small sauce pan let´s heat it with a medium heat and let´s add our mixture inside we´re going to cook our mixture for about 10 minutes I´m going to be stirring the mixture throughout the entire time we´re trying to achieve a loose pudding texture and once we reach this consistency here of a loose pudding let´s go ahead and turn off our fire and let´s continue to mix now let´s transfer our lemon curd into a bowl and let´s put it in the refrigerator to let it chill ok next we´re going to be making some homemade whipped cream let´s start by adding 1 cup of chilled heavy whipping cream to a bowl next let´s add 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and let´s start whisking it until stiff peaks form now let´s add our whipped cream into the fridge until our lemon curd has completely cooled off ok it´s been about 30 minutes since we added the lemon curd to the fridge and it´s completely cooled off now let´s grab about a 1/4 of our whipped cream and let´s mix it with the lemon curd now let´s gently fold the remainder of our whipped cream now let´s start adding our lemon mousse into some serving bowls now let´s cover each lemon mousse with some seran wrap and let´s add it to the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to let the mousse set in ok its been about 3 hours since we added our lemon mousse to the fridge and it´s ready to be served I´m going to grab one of the bowls and garnish it with some fresh blueberries and some lemon zest for presentation, and let you guys know how it taste ok let´s give this lemon mousse a try wow! its got a perfectly balanced flavor and it´s light on its feet you guys are really going to love this! if you enjoyed today´s video on making this lemon mousse please subscribe to my channel so you can receive all my future videos until the next time.
