Hello Friends! Welcome to Fit Tuber. Cottage cheese in spinach curry (Palak Paneer) is such a mouth watering dish. The Palak Paneer that we generally eat provides us with Paneer nutrition. However the spinach nutrition is somewhere wasted.
It is because we over cook it. Temper it too much. But don’t worry friends. Today I will show you the recipe for the healthiest palak paneer that you will ever taste. No oil. Not too much spices. 100 percent nutrition and taste So, Stay tuned.
To make Cottage cheese in spinach gravy (Palak Paneer), I have taken 100g of low fat Cottage cheese 1 Bowl of spinach.I have washed it properly. 12-15 cashews. This is an optional ingredient but I highly recommend it.
Cashews are not only a healthy source of fat, but it will upgrade the taste of the dish. Firstly, I have put water in a pan and covered it. After the water is boiled, I will put off the gas. Now, I will rinse the spinach leaves in it and cover it with a lid.
After 2-3 minutes the spinach leaves shall be steamed. Spinach should not get overcooked, so I will dip it into cold water. Next, into a blender I have put a chopped tomatoes, 2-3 garlic cloves, chopped onion, 1 green chili and spinach.
You can even add yogurt here. Then we will blend the mixture into a fine paste. In another jar, we will grind the cashews . Now, we will put a non stick pan on high flame.After the pan is heated, we will turn the flame to low.
Now, we will add the spinach paste. Add a little turmeric, salt and mix it. Then add cottage cheese. You can see that the spinach color is light green which shows that it has not been overcooked. Add the grinned cashews.
