Hi, this is Josiah Owen and today we are going to talk about making pot roast. Now we are going to talk about cleaning and preparing our potatoes. We are going to make sure and wash all of our potatoes.
Actually when picking these out you want to make sure there is not too many imperfection in this. Even though we are going to peel them you know big black spots are going to cause you to cut out extra potato.
Then you are essentially wasting some money. So if you have them clean, go ahead and set 2 of the biggest ones to the side. We are going to peel the smallest 3. So just like the carrots we want to cut away all the skin.
You can always save this for some other recipe or just throw it away. You just want to keep on peeling until you get all of the skin off. Then watch out if you are using baking potatoes for this just make sure you get all the dirt off and wash all of that off before you start this.
