Hello friends welcome to Madras Samayal Today lets see how to make Paneer Pulao To make this recipe I have taken 250 g Paneer Transfer it to a bowl Add 1/2 tsp Chili powder also add in 1/8 tsp of Salt mix well Now we need to fry the paneer in oil or ghee Melt 2 tbsp of Ghee in a pan Place the paneer and fry until Golden on all sides Once Golden take it off from the pan Now in the remaining ghee roast some cashews Now its time to make the Pulao Melt 2 tbsp of Ghee in a pan Add Bay leaves, Cinnamon, star anise, 3 Cardamom, 4 Cloves 1/2 tsp Pepper 1 tsp Cumin seeds Give it a stir Now to this add 1 sliced Onion Once the onions are golden add 3 Green chilies also add in 1 tsp Ginger Garlic paste We can also add finely chopped Ginger and Garlic Once the raw smell of ginger garlic is gone add veggies 5 – 6 green beans 1 Carrot 1/4 cup Peas Mix them all together and cook for 2 minutes Now lets add some chili powder and garam masala 1 tsp Chili powder 1 tsp Garam masala Now lets add rice – 2 cup Basmati Rice Soaked in water for 20 minutes 2 cup rice will be sufficient for 4 people Now lets add water , we need 3 cups of Water Finally add required Salt Check for salt, if required add more Cover and cook until the rice is well done.
If you are using cooker then 1 whistle on medium heat Once the rice is almost done , add the fried Paneer also add in the roasted cashews some mint and coriander leaves Cover and let it cook for 5 more minutes Finally add a tsp of ghee to enhance the taste and flavor 1 tsp Ghee Mix it gently and its ready to be served.
