Buddha Bowl Hey guys! I’m staying over at Taylor’s house for the weekend and we’re just cooking lunch right now and it looks like a very delicious recipe so i decided that i would make a recipe video for you guys so you can try it yourselves we’re making a peanut sesame tofu Buddha Bowl! uh-huh and it’s all vegan so if you would like a vegan recipe try this out if you’re not vegan try this out as well because I think you’ll really enjoy it let’s get started here are all the ingredients are going to be using today i’ll list everything down below in the description box for you guys you can use basically any vegetables for this recipe and it’s gonna taste amazing so feel free to mix it up and use your faves we’re going to be using some shredded carrots lots of fresh mixed greens some chickpeas lots of broccoli i love broccoli so I definitely have to add that in some red lentils that have been soaked overnight any kind of firm tofu use whatever type you like now for the sauce we’re going to use some maple syrup peanut butter we went with chunky because chunkies better some sesame oil soy sauce use gluten free if you would like you can make this recipe gluten-free by doing that and some chili garlic paste and then some olive oil and salt and pepper to taste so you’re going to want to cut your tofu into little cubes however big you like and then you’re going to want to remove the water from it so take some paper towels and just kind of like Pat it down and try and get as much water out of the tofu as you can arrange your tofu pieces onto a non-stick baking sheet and we’re going to bake these in the oven at 400 degrees fahrenheit for about 25 minutes until they get kind of golden and poofy you’ll see when we take them out but it is so delicious like baked tofu is the best thing ever~ while all those are in the oven let’s put together our sauce so first, scoop your peanut butter into a little Bowl and next we’re going to add in the garlic chili sauce some sesame oil gluten-free soy sauce and finally some maple syrup to sweeten it up a bit take a fork and mix those all together and when it’s nice and mixed you’ll end up with something that looks like this now it’s time to cook up the rest of our topping so put a little bit of olive oil in a pan and we’re going to add in the broccoli the garbanzo beans and the red lentils stir this around until everything is finished cooking i think it took about 10 to 15 minutes yay! ^_^ the tofu is ready, be very careful when taking it out of the oven and just look at how gorgeous this tofu is I could eat just this for the rest of my life and I would be so happy oh my god i can like smell it through the screen as I’m voicing this over huh so yummy we’re going to add about half of the sauce mixture to the tofu and stir that up gently so all the tofu is coated nicely in the sauce all right all the ingredients are prepared so grab your bowl of brown rice and arrange them on top however you like we’re going to start off with the greens and then we’re going to add in the shredded carrots and then fill the remaining space with the broccoli chick pea and lentil mixture spoon your tofu and sauce mixture on top of your bowl and then with the remaining sauce you can kind of just drizzle this all over the bowl the sauce is so good you’re going to want to put lots of it and it trust me it’s really really really good we’re all finished today all right guys our bowls are all finished they smell soo good i cannot wait to eat this!! This is the biggest bite ever!! so I try to get all i wanted.

Let’s try it OH MY GOD *^^* Oh my god this sauce is soo good!!! it’s like savory yet a bit tangy and creamy at the same time not to swallow you mix with the length of the vegetables Wow but that’s kinda like stir it yeah that’s the best way to do it like with any kind of vegetables if you don’t like broccoli say switch that up with something else like like red pepper or something or in like other beans yeah whatever you have in your fridge this sauce is so pretty when you spend on anything all right guys we’re going to enjoy our Buddha Bowls~ I hope you enjoyed this recipe if you make this please take pictures of it and tag me and Taylor on instagram or Twitter!!! :* you got other things to make it better let us know! like what versions you like of it~ but i really recommend this to anyone I feel like everybody would like this, It’s so good!! even if you do eat meat This sauce is awesome!
