I am happy to see you again for this new pastry recipe An apple tart with my french touch We are going to prepare an almond cream on the same base than my last recipe in video the Frangipane Galette This time, i will add melted dark chocolate In the same time, i will caramelize apples in big cubes With some butter and some brown sugar to caramelize then flambeed with rhum.
It will be tasty ! The first step consist in melting dark chocolat on a double boiler Avoid the water boiling ; bring to the boil, turn off then let melt the chocolate. Then, mix 120 g soft butter with 120 g sugar Let’s do it ! While my chocolate finish to melt, I take a frying pan Melt some butter Add peeled apples cutted into big cubes Only cook a few minute Add 2 to 3 tbsp of brown sugar Caramelize them 3 to 4 minutes And after, flambeed the apples ! Pour 10 cl of rhum Flambee without waiting ;do not turn on the kitchen hood In the same time, add 120g almond powder 2 whole eggs and 100g melted dark chocolate Put a shortbread dough in a cake dish ; prick dough spread the chocolate almond cream and apple pieces Put back the dough on top of the garnish My sweet apple tart is ready to cook ! 30 minutes in a preheated oven at 190°C And we will enjoy !
