Soya Sag aloo recipe –  Indian Dill Potatoes Recipe

Namaskar Welcome to nishamadhulika.com. Today we will prepare soya saag aloo sabzi. This sabzi is made with less masala and is made very tasty. Lets see what all ingredients are required for making soya saag aloo sabzi: Soya saag- 250 grams which is also known as ‘Dil’.

Potato – 2 Oil – 2 tbsp You can use any cooking oil. Asafoetida – 1 pinch Cumin seeds – ½ tsp Green chilly – 2 (finely chopped) Red chilly powder – ¼ tsp Turmeric powder – less than ¼ tsp Salt – ¾ tsp or to taste Firstly we will peel the potatoes and will cut them.

Cut medium size potatoes. Turn on the gas. Add oil in the kadhai. 250 grams soya saag is used Take out the soft leaves and remove the stalk Wash the leaves twice thoroughly and place them in sieve so that water drains out.

Take a bunch of leaves in hand and cut it from the middle. Oil is hot now;add cumin seeds, after sauting cumin seeds add green chilli, asafoetida Tumeric powder and now potatoes. Add 2-3 tbsp of water, cover the potatoes with a lid and cook them for 3-4 minutes.

Meanwhile we will cut the soya saag. Now we will stir the potatoes and then we will add soya saag. Also Add salt,red chilly powder. We will add 2-3 tbsp of more water. We will cover the sabzi and cook it for another five minutes.

Sabzi is ready now. We can now take out the sabzi in a bowl. Soya saag and dry potato sabzi is ready. You can serve dil and aloo sabzi with chapatti, paranthas or naan. This much of sabzi can be served to 4-5 members of the family.
