Hey, Simply Bakers! It’s Laney and welcome back to my channel! Today’s video is sponsored by Sunbutter and I’m sharing with you how to make a five-ingredient Sun butter cookie recipe. It’s foolproof, delicious and easy! Let’s begin! So in a large bowl, you’re going to add the brown sugar, the Sunbutter and you’re going to mix it until it’s well combined.
So for those of you who don’t know what some butter is, it’s actually made out of sunflower seeds so it’s completely peanut free. It has seven grams of protein per serving and it’s vegan and vegetarian.
Actually, there’s so much more benefits. I’ll list them in the description box. So let’s get back to the recipe. Once you’re finished mixing, go ahead and add the milk and using a fork, mix it until it’s well combined.
Next, add the flour and baking soda and continue mixing. I started mixing with a fork but eventually, I use my wooden spoon because that became easier to mix with. So once you’re done mixing, grab your handy dandy cookie scooper and scoop the cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, foil, or a baking mat.
So I flattened my cookies, you don’t have to do this but I want to give the signature look of a nut butter cookie and I use my fork into the crisscrosses just like so, and once you’re done, you’re going to pop this in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about nine to eleven minutes.
So once the cookies finished baking, I removed it from the oven and allowed it to bake a little bit more on the cookie sheet for about two minutes and then I transferred the cookies over to a cookie rack to finish cooling.
So these cookies were so delicious. You guys! The texture was very similar to any other nut butters out there! So go ahead and give it a try and let me know in the comments how you guys liked it! Thank you guys so much for watching! Happy New Year and I will see you on my next upload! Bye guys!
