This hearty North spicy swiss chard & rice soup is a flavorful and hearty one-pot dinner!  This dish was a winter staple in our home. My mother-n-law would make it once a week, all winter long. She would usually accompany it with some camembert cheese, bourek and bread. But really you don’t need to add a thing but your favorite freshly-baked rustic bread. Swiss chard is an earthy-tasting Swiss chard is a powerhouse of nutrition, loaded with vitamins K, A, and C, as well as a good source of magnesium, potassium, iron, and dietary fiber.
One last word, this soup is even better the next day!
👉 English
500g – 3 packed cups of swiss chard (or spinach)
1 large onion, chopped
2 carrots,chopped
1 TBS tomato paste
1 TBS mild dersa pepper paste
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 bay leaf
100g – 1/2 cup long grain rice 
2 liters – 2 qt vegetable broth
oil, salt, pepper

500g de bette à carde (ou épinards)
1 gros oignon, haché
2 carottes, haché
1 CS concentraté de tomates
1 CS pâte de piment dersa doux
3 gousses d’ail émincées
1 feuille de laurier
100g – 1/2 verre tasse de riz à grain long
2 litres – bouillon de légumes
huile, sel, poivre
500g mangold (vagy spenót)
1 nagy hagyma apróra vágva
2 sárgarépa, szeletelt
1 EK paradicsompüré
1 EK (dersa) édes paprika krém
3 fokhagyma
1 babérlevél
100 g – 1/2 bögre fehér rizs
2 liter viz
olaj, só, bors
